The NRWC is the only national organization founded by workforce practitioners committed to advancing socio-economic mobility for people impacted by the justice system. To have a vibrant economy, we believe there must be equitable access to high-quality, evidence-informed workforce training that supports people seeking employment to position them to meaningfully contribute to their communities.
The Reentry Specialist Certification offers the field a standard of practice to support community reentry programs to connect their program models to evidence-informed guiding principles. This professional certification is designed to help reentry specialists and leaders develop a baseline of competencies aligned with the most up to date science and high impact strategies.
